Edit - for that matter, I'd really like to know how to remove or hide any icon that is not controlled by Feature Manager.

The goal of Feature Manager is to allow any icon to be turned on or off. If you notice any icon missing an entry in Feature Manager, please submit this as a bug to
http://bugzilla.cpanel.net or submit a ticket regarding this. Both methods will ensure our Quality Assurance team becomes aware of the situation.
