I'm unclear on this one, too. The certificate installed seems to work the same whether I have it selected as shared or not.
I have the cert registered to the hostname, and the owner is listed as "nobody".
The problem I'm trying to resolve is that when I use the cert on a subaccount (
https://www.mydomain.com/~username), I get a warning that the cert doesn't match the website address. I can click on OK to proceed anyway, but I'm not sure if every user is going to do that; or worse, if newer browser versions are going to allow it.
Is there a way to get around this error on my end?
