Hi guys, I am hoping someone can help me here, my hosting company has tried to help me but they keep saying that it must be my browser. Its not, as I have tried in firefox and ie on two different computers.


What is happening is, I try to change a page, or even add a whole new page, but they wont show up on the internet.

What is strange is that for instance, I completely deleted the index page and made a new one, but the old one still shows up on the internet! But in cpanel, if I click the edit HTML button, it will show the new page.

Not only that but since this started happening, 5 days ago, my stats are no longer showing. The past 5 days show 0. But my hosting company says that when they go in and look, they can see the stats.

I attached a screen shot of my cpanel file manager, as you can see, there is a page named "graphics"
yet if you go to: http://www.theweekendworker.com/graphics.htm it comes up with a 404 error page!

It is really frustrating, I cannot update, or add anything!

I have vps license for cPanel and the problem is when I want to access cPanel via https port eg: domain:2083 it will redirect me to hostname:2083 instead.

Where can I change those setting inside WHM?

I am trying to tune my server so i can get the best performance for my forum (php files and a few graphics) and my datacenter recomend me to use php as cgi.

I need your opinion if that helps and is any minus in this configuration and what i have to do to use that php as cgi?

I'm having trouble getting my DNS server working properly and while trying to figure out whats going wrong I've been trying a number of dns report tools but its adding to my confusion

1 reports that my DNS server is not authoritative for my zone DNSCog Report for cdi.ul.ie

but

Free DNS tools, reports and hosting tests, WHOIS, ping, tracerout, spam database lookup. Advanced network and domain name tools.

says different.

Which should I believe?

I've got such problem:
I'm serving network with 37 computers and shared storage for 30 TB for them. My object is to make data transmission optimized best and to all data was backup reliably. We're using Windows.
What is the best way to do this, please?

I have a problem with sending e-mail from the mail client. In e-mail client I have about 5 accounts are automatically checked every 10 minutes. e-mails can be obtained from mail client, but when trying to send out a message not connect to SMTP server. This error sending appear only rarely. (not a problem with the internet). The rest of the time everything works ... Where could be the problem?

i used rvsitebuilder to build website...i messed up the site when i was trying to add something in file manager and was wondering , since my site is down, if i can just delete all the files in file manager and still have the ability to go back through rvsitebuilder and republish my website since all the info is still on rvsitebuilder like I originaly had it..

I found out that someone got into my website folders and hid their fhishing files and folders on my site. I tried deleting these files and folders but with no success. Can anybody help in telling me how to delete these types of fhishing files? Obviously these hackers are clever and did something to make these files undeletable.

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. If so, do they have any information on how to fix it?

Within WHM we setup a Shared IP to be used for the server... Once an account gets created on the server that uses the shared IP a virtual host entry is created within the httpd.conf file for the server.

The problem is that this entry gets created with the below, which is syntactically incorrect. This causes apache to go down as it cannot restart to apply the change. It will not start back up until we either delete the UserDir line, or set it to disabled.

This only happens when the first shared IP account gets created, and the virtual host entry for the actual servers name is created. The same can be said if a reseller has a shared IP and they create their first shared ip account. Subsequent accounts setup on that shared IP do not have this problem.

I've ran the apache config distiller script after manually fixing the problem and I've rebuilt the apache configuration after that to make sure the change took, so I know it has something to do with the virtual host entry getting created for the actual servername, and I know it deals specifically with shared IP's.
