Some of these Features and Improvements are available now, in EDGE build. They will be working their way down thru all tiers in due time as new cPanel changes always get rolled out.

I HATE the new designs. I have no idea why people that glitzy and fluffy complicated styles are better than plain clean simple function design. This is exactly what is wrong with much of American manufacturing actually. They are so excited about look and feel and so little attention is paid to usability and functionality. PLEASE give us the option of retaining the much cleaner and simpler style that we currently have. I don't want all kinds of drop down menus, glitzy loking buttons and graphics, or a complicated UI.

Moving to EDGE tier is not suggested of course, so for now, pictures of whats in store for us all.

I REALLY dislike this VERY complicated screen. WOW that is so cluttered and no user friendly! Please stop complicating things in an ill attempt to make them better. It works fine exactly how it is now. Stop with all the fluff and glitz. You seem to have forgotten that functionality trumps looking pretty.

I disagree. I guess the best approach to better make things more friendly to everybody would be if these new designs were released as "x4", so that people who love the old good design can stick to it without problems.

You are talking circles. These new screen shots are VERY user UNfriendly! Way too much clutter and fluff. In the current version all you do is click and go and the interface is very clean and simple to the eye. The new one is all fluffed up and glitzy and it adds all sort of levels of menus/combo boxes, and drop down options. How is that even CLOSE to being better?

I am all for added functionality but not at the expense of usability. Its akin to the 'new and improved' skin in phpMyAdmin. In that case nothing at all is added but a new design that is horrible on the eyes.

A big part of these updates to the interface are to combine multiple pages into one and the new mail queue manager does indeed provide that which does make it more user friendly.
Keep in mind, not every attempt towards "user friendly" is about dumbing something down so a novice could use it easily.
Sometimes it is about bringing all related features into a single page interface where an experienced admin has the ability to drill down to detail that is needed.

Again it is fine to add functionality but to do so in such a cluttered way that the user has to jump through all these combo boxes, drop down menus, and other fluff designed simply to look cool is horrid. The coders for this project are falling into the trap of trying to show us how cool their coding abilities are rather than trying to give us a logical and intuitive interface. Keeping an interface clean and easy to use is NOT dumbing it down. It is making it so that it has ease of use! Just because the coders know how to make all kinds of cool looking controls does not mean that any of the controls are a practical use for the application. It is rally sad that the accepted standard is to out-cool the next guys code rather than make it actually usable.

I'm not sure what you're seeing as complicated while expressing concern for functionality. What I see is more functionality, looking great.
