I would have driven if there was a bridge across the atlantic and the indian ocean and guess would have to start atleast 1month in advance. I imagine that the drive would be interesting with dolphins jumping across the bridges and with sea breeze on your face..i would choose my open top car. ......

Figures you would pick Houston now!
I lived in Houston for a great many years but not there anymore.
Yep, Houston is the only place it's been. Keeps us sane as we don't have to do 72 different dances to get the logistics taken care of.

I was wondering, will the Microsoft/cPanel "Rock Band" be performing again this year? That was good entertainment last year.![]()
We're actually planning on something that will be at least as much, and more then likely more fun. If you're an old school gamer kinda geek stay tuned :-)

Is there going to be any mention of cPanels response to the new coming google wave?
Google Wave Preview
I would really like to see cPanels response to what could be a fairly significant change coming to the web and email.
I would absolutely love it if some major companies out there took on google and setup their own competing systems and even started forging the webs future themselves. Seems google is now possibly determining the future for all of us. I do not like the idea of google single handedly pioneering & dominating the direction and future of the web, although the wave does look good.
Since cPanel is primarily a control panel designed for managing all the tools to run a website and web hosting business, then I think you guys should consider what googles new WAVE could do to this industry in the future. Seems email will end up being replaced, that's a fairly significant change, also with the extensions feature that google wave offers, could this even start replacing websites? Instead of visiting a website, could we in the future be simply downloading an application from a remote IP over their federation protocol, that we interact with live instead? Making webpages/websites an old static protocol that becomes less used and instead we'd be interacting live with an application on the remote server through this new protocol? Almost turn it into something like "online gaming"? I see big changes coming and I would like cPanel to look at this new technology and assess it fully. Please don't ignore it or put your head in the sand otherwise I feel certain it will bite much harder later on.
I think cPanel will eventually have to start developing new tools for this new google wave approach to the future internet. Making a new control panel that deals with a new way that the web is used. I hope this can be dealt with in some small way in the up coming conference? Obviously not in depth, but at least something showing you guys are aware of it, your take on it? What you think about it?

Anyone have any questions about the event? If so, let me know. As always, it's going to be great :-)
