Add "Update Preferences" to WHM on cPanel DNS ONLY [Case 60747]

At present, cPanel DNS ONLY does not offer access to the Update Preferences area of WebHost Manager; I believe this makes it more difficult for less experienced server administrators to switch between tiers on DNS ONLY, (i.e., between stable, release, current, edge, and between LTS tiers like 11.30 and 11.32). When using cPanel DNS ONLY, the only alternative is to manually edit /etc/cpupdate.conf using command-line (CLI) access through SSH or the server console. In the spirit of offering a better experience when using cPanel DNS clustering, I would really like to see the Update Preferences area made available to WHM on cPanel DNS ONLY.

To clarify, I am referring to the following area of WebHost Manager:
WHM: Main >> Server Configuration >> Update Preferences (Update Config)
URI: /scripts2/updateconf

While searching the forums, I found at least one other person has expressed interest in wanting to change tiers in cPanel DNS ONLY, as evidenced by the following post from March of 2012: Upgrade WHM and cPanel -- To quote: "And how to upgrade DNS Only Servers to 11.32, the are running on STABLE but there is no Option to Change this to RELEASE or CURRENT."

For tracking purposes, I've filed this feature request as internal case 60747; however, this does not guarantee that it will be implemented -- I believe implementation is dependent upon the community feedback received here.

I don't knew cPanel DNS Only have different versions... How to find change log to see difference?
But i agree with this feature.

In Change Logs i only find changelogs to cPanel, EasyApache, RPMs and Enkompass

cPanel&WHM and cPanel DNSONLY share the same change log and tiers starting with version 11.30. The only difference is how you install them, for DNSONLY you can either add the CLI switch "dnsonly" when executing the installer or run the separate installer, cpanel-dnsonly-install.sea or latest-dnsonly, which has the same end result.

cPanel DNS ONLY installations do not include the end-user cPanel interface, and access in WHM is limited to only the bare essentials required to operate a standalone DNS server.
