You should go with the approach I saw with other companies where the phrases are online and everyone can submit their translations. For translations that are done already you can vote from all different options to see which one is the correct one.

Some guidelines need to be taken, keep it short, short is always better and use neutral phrases. For computer terms use the popular ones.

As always we appreciate the constructive feedback that is provided we have been working on translations/localization for quite some time. We understand it's not perfect (and may never be) especially by our standards however we are continually working towards having some standards in place always.

Appreciate your patience and understanding as we continually work towards incremental completions of the overall goal.

I can say I second nibb in this particular issue. I can recall from somewhere that the hand made translations in WHM which are somehow retrieved by cPanel, are being put to test to improving QA of lang packs. Do you?

Custom translations are stored in different files from our supplied translations, so your customizations will remain preserved.

We put in all the legal stuff into the EULA so we could do this, but we never put that system into place.

You aren't using that feedback by now, but according to EULA you could if you want to, in the future. Hope you do it.
