[Case 60698] Custom jailshell files

We would like the ability to add custom files be added to jailshell and not just custom mounts.

For a specific instance, lynx was failing on the following error.

user@example.com [~]$ lynx
Lynx file "/etc/lynx.lss" is not available.


We worked around this specific issue but there are other custom programs that require files not accessible inside of cpanel's jailshell.

We have submitted a case asking to have this improved, but a work-around is to add the files you want to use to /var/cpanel/exim.conf.deps. You will see that the files listed there by default are mail-related, but you can add other files to the list and jailshell will allow access to them.

Will the /var/cpanel/exim.conf.deps file be replaced on cPanel upgrades ? Would we have to update it after each upgrade ?
