Hi,

I am here to suggest a feature for cpanel / whm ( mainly WHM )

currently when we suspend any account in whm , it suspend every thing including FTP, mails DBs and website.

So just in case say there is abusing on mails of the account and site is working fine. Then if we want to suspend the email access , we do not have such ability.

Or we have to ask client to remove some files on DMCA complaints or such , then we have to give access for FTP to remove such files / content. But when we suspend account we lost the access for FTP as well.

I can see that WHM has new features like something of same logic. In restore backups we have ability to check the box for sub-doamins , database emails or public_html or entire account etc.

Can we not have such feature for suspending the account like checking the box to suspend.

We would often like to allow FTP access and backup downloads but suspend access to the website.

At the moment we create an FTP account and give access to the suspended customer to this account to download their backup. It would be better if they could do this on their own.

+1 to this. I remember this feature was requested sometime ago, but it didn't get through.

I'd add FTP/Webdav

We manage vps servers on our own, and when and abuse is detected, we simply change the password of that email account and if that stop the abuse, simply communicate the new login info to the customers. That is, to avoid suspending the account because this feature is not present.
