Lightbulb In cPanel, display used inodes, resources used by MySQL (not size/# of DBs)

I can view the daily CPU usage reports from within WHM.

It would be nice to get a monthly cpu usage report for all accounts listed on the server.

Also for customers to see their daily and/or monthly cpu usage from within cPanel or resellers from within WHM.

Default Ionode and CPU Usage Stats for cPanel

I think these two features are needed badly in my opinion. I think that the ability to limit it and change it should be in order as well.

This would be a huge stepping stone in cpanel's development.

Looks like Hostgator already have that on their cPanel x3 theme.

    (demo login cpanel from hostgator)

Due to the similarity of the requests involved I have merged two feature request threads that both ask for enhanced resource usage reporting, including information containing CPU, RAM, and inode usage.

We greatly appreciate your posted suggestions as seen in this thread; the feedback received is invaluable to determining which potential new features would be the most useful and in highest demand.

We coded our own system to do this sort of thing but cPanel supporting it directly is always better so has my vote.

Custom made system so no. You can do this yourself using tools like psacct and percona mysql builds. psacct will provide you with CPU info of perl, php ruby etc. processes. Percona can be used to retrieve CPU usage of mysql users if you wish to also track that. If you wish to track just connections you could do that using standard MySQL builds and just at 5 minutes intervals check the connections of users.

Hostgator did a really fine job with this. If cPanel does decide to implement this, they should also look into creating methods of limiting user CPU, Memory, and inodes.
