    Default cPanel Modular System

    Hello

I'm not sure if this is the right to post this, but i'll go ahead and post it here

I use cPanel mostly for some futures such as easyapache and easy DNS management, while i think most people like the other stuffs cPanel offers such as cpAddons, mail managemnet, etc, i think its time to rethink cPanel and move to more of modular system where the customer can choose which module they want activated, it can be a list with modules such as

    [] Mail Management
    [] DNS Management
    [] cpAddons

    etc you got the idea

what this modular system does it reduce overall work on new servers where you can just choose which modules you gonna need, and its less disk usage and daily maintenance

Would Mail Management also include the ability for PHP and CGI scripts to use sendmail?

Would DNS Management also include the ability to create addon, parked and subdomains? What about SPF and DKIM? All of these are DNS Management tasks.

Yeah while i think the idea is good, i think it will complicated for most of users, after all you will need an dependency system to check for each module if it required another module to work.

i would think that if you want to Enable the DNS but also want to disable Mail i would think cPanel scripts would check to see if the Mail module enabled to and do the required stuffs for SPF & DKIM, its all about dependency

i know this wont happen anytime soon, but i would love to see it in the future
