Custom alternative WHM/root control panel

I am new to cPanel but I already see a need. I would love to be able to create an alternative every-day-use WHM panel that I can populate with those specific options I need just to run things I normally do. This should be such that I always have the option to click one button to switch to the full version when needed and then switch back to the custom version... I would like the option to select which appears by default when I log in.

cPanel has tons of functions many of which are not often used once the server is configured and running the way you want it. An alternative control set would un clutter the interface and make finding the functions you need most often easy when it comes to adding a domain etc.

It could be built using the typical two window field with the left containing all the functions and arrow to add from that list to the right window from which to build your custom control panel.

I was just migrated over from Plesk 10 and am very impressed with the power of cPanel...I think it could just use a touch of simplicity for every day tasks.

You can create a Reseller account, and then from the Reseller Center edit that Resellers available options. Log out root user, login as that Reseller and you have basically what you seek.

You can collapse menus containing functions that you do not often use, and expand them later. Also, there is a search box in the upper left corner, in the left frame, that lets you search for any item very quickly. It will even search within menus that you have collapsed.

I do not mean to take away from the validity of your feature request, but I wanted to point out some options that are already present that may give you almost what you want.
