A feature I always wanted to see is the ability to use an SSH key to access WHM. At this time we use SSH key to access SSH itself but to eliminate the need to enter a password into WHM would be great and much more secure as there would be no need to have a password list with you at all times.

In 11.34, we are introducing pluggable authentication. This means you will be able to add your own code to the authentication layer such as requiring SSH keys.

In the interim, 11.28's new Security Policy functionality of limiting logins by IP address (and being required to answer security questions if you are logging in from an unusual IP) may be of interest to you since you seem security-minded.
