Default Disk usage viewer to show SINGLE list of all files by size

Suggestion: offer an option in Cpanel's Disk usage viewer that shows a single list of all files on an account sorted by size (largest first). I think this can be achieved by a single command line along the lines of

    du /home/[accname]/ -ah | sort –nr | grep M
... but would be more useful if this were embedded within 'Disk Usage Viewer'

This would be a helpful enhancement for speeding up the process of identifying the largest files on a hosting account.

Default RE: [FEATURE REQUEST] Disk usage viewer to show single list of all files by size

    Dear spaceman,

This is really a useful feature and let us hope the feature releases would support it.

    Regards,

It won't unless someone puts in a proper feature request for it. Posting it in the forum is not the correct way to ask for it. The proper way is here -> http://support.cpanel.net/index.cgi?feature=1

Actually you need to do both "create a forum lobby thread" and send in a "feature request via TT".

I sent in a feature request to have an option to disable mailman from WHM. I also started a thread and asked people to post if they were in favour. Result was implementation within a week. The interesting thing to note was that two months later my TT was replied to saying "No that feature won't be implemented". Huh? By all means do it the prescribed way - but if you ONLY do it the prescribed way, nothing will happen.

If you want this feature you need to post in this thread that you do want it - otherwise nothing will happen.

Thanks for your advice. I just posted a feature request, referencing this forum thread.
