We have a significant number of customers with multiple domains that need to point to the same services. The majority of these are variations on domain names (ie: companyname.com/companyname.com.au/companyname.net etc), however we also have some customers that have 20++ domains that all just point through to their website. Managing changes to A records or MX records for these customers becomes a headache as each change needs to be reflected on every single domain entry.

I would see benefit in being able to link/alias a domain to a master domain record and any changes to the master domain record get reflected on any child domain entries it relates to.

I had this feature at a previous company with a custom DNS management system and it saved massive amounts of time.
