Planned for 11.34 Horde Groupware Webmail Edition 4.0 [Case 50766]

Version 4.0 of Horde Groupware Webmail has been released, which brings a number of features we have all been waiting for to Horde, and hopefully soon to cPanel!

• ActiveSync support -> Allows Horde users to sync mail, calendar, contacts with phones,... (Horde Wiki)
• improved AJAX frontend
• CalDAV client support

Not really, that thread was about the framework, not the webmail application and I did not want to reopen it since it was already that old.

Any ETA on this? 11.32?! I think that a lot of cPanel users would appreciate having the possibility to sync their webmail calendar and contacts with pc clients and cell phones!

Work has wrapped up on 11.32 so we are scheduling this for version 11.34.

Excuse my ignorance, but on reading the Horde 4 wiki it seems this ActiveSync implememation supports Contacts, Calendar & Tasks, but no mention of email?

Have I missed something , or does it not in fact support push email?

Good to hear. Would be awesome if this update would allow people to sync contacts, calendar and tasks from Outlook 2007/2010 or Thunderbird to Horde and then to their smart phone. (or other way around). Does anyone know if this would be possible?

Right now one of the major drawbacks of hosting email on a cPanel platform rather than Microsoft, or Google is that they provide this type of synchronization.

Also, any idea approximately when 11.34 will be released to the Release Tier?

Would be really nice to see sooner than next year. Does anyone know how the active sync works with horde? Would it allow for someone to sync contacts, calendars between webmail client, outlook and smart phones?
