Lightbulb Idea - sort by domain name

    Hi,

I use cPanel on my accounts at eUKHost and HostPapa. Both use cPanel build 11.25.0-STABLE.

The 'email account forwarders' screen could be improved by letting me sort by domain name. I have lots of add-on domains and I find it difficult to find what ones I've set up for each.

Similarly, the 'Email Accounts' and 'Mailing Lists' can be improve with this feature too.

Any hope of seeing this enhancement added to a new version of cPanel?

    Many thanks,

    ~Andrew~

To clarify on how you want this implemented, do you think if we implemented the same type of sorting that is on the Email Accounts page - that would be sufficient for the Email Forwarders page?

I see no way of sorting that either. It just has a heading "Account @ Domain".

What I want is to sort not only by email name (e.g. 'admin', 'contact', 'enquiries') but also by domain (i.e. grouping all the email/forwarders for whitchurch.org.uk together, followed by all those for next addon domain, and so on).

    Ditto for 'Mailing Lists'

Click on Account to sort by account name (the part before @)

Click on Domain to sort by domain name (the part after @)

Ah - I was clicking on the @ (does nothing).

So yes, a feature like that. Thank you!

It would be a nice enhancement too if some kind of colour separtion would distinguish each domain when sorted - e.g. @domain1.com would be in light grey, @domain2.com in white,... plus some thicker bar between each.

Or easier: right-align the names in that column. Right now they are centred which makes it harder to scan through the list to find the one I'm after.

    Thank you for the tip!
