Inserting Encrypted Password into the Password Generator

When entering passwords it would be nice if there was an option to put in a password that is already encrypted.

I am moving email accounts from a non-cpanel server to a cpanel server, I know you can edit the file in a users home directory. I have no idea what the passwords for these accounts are, nor do I wish to know.

Just would be easier if I could immediately paste the encrypted password in the Password Generator and select an appropiate option when it comes to working on email accounts.

Are these passwords encrypted? I ask because we don't encrypt passwords, we hash them. That means passwords are irretrievable (practically speaking) and as a result, their password strength cannot be checked.

This is what I call an encrypted password and what you may be calling a hashed password:

$1$154a6f1d$sHRydACYaKwDTsZbt/J3T.

I believe that is MD5?

Allowing this would permits users to bypass password strength checking as the password would be opaque to the interface.
