Load Balancing, Mirroring between 2 cPanel Servers

I have a feature request (I don't know if any control panel offers such feature).

I have 2 servers with cPanel installed on both. Both servers are in different Data Centers in USA. What I want to achieve is Mirror, Load Balance my websites (specific domains or all domains) so if my Master server's network out or server down due to any hardware, software issue then Slave server start representing the websites. Domains can have databases, email accounts, forwarders. Just like a clone on other server uptodated all time. I request cPanel team to create such feature and other members to vote for this feature.

This feature can help a lot for big ecommerce sites, busy forums, security of content (in case of HDD failure) etc.

Can this be done? I would love to know that how this is done.
How can you keep the websites identical on both servers?
I assume you would add content on one server and the other will still show he old content, right?

no doubt this feature would be fantastic, cPanel with this feature would be the best choice for hosting any host, this feature would also help when you need to do maintenance on a server, then quickly the slave server would be taking the job, to enter the master server maintenance.

You generally need to have all the servers clustered to achieve this :

a high disponibility NAS
a high disponiibility mysql cluster
two or more web servers that connect to both

You would need to setup a heartbeat between the servers and have an ipfailover that you can point to either server if one of them fails.

As far as I know this is something cPanel can manage but more of a server setup.

It would be great though if there was some way to setup a system to do this !

I vote for this feature as well. We are looking at doing this now but would be much better if it was built into cPanel. DNS clustering is already there so I would assume that you have some sort of structure already in place.

I currently run one web server for hosting clients. Now the number of clients are increasing, and I would be increasing my servers. I need advice on best configuration that could prevent single point of failure.

I'm considering this option:

Set up a small server to run a load balancer such as HAProxy or Pound, and connect it to my back-end containing two or three big web servers over a VLAN.

Would you consider this solution above or advice an alternative?

I'm also considering HAProxy at the moment, but if there was a WHM feature that would make it easier to implement for us, that would be great
