About LinkBacksCan we have default setting for this option not "local recommended" but "remote" or else?

Also, how do we get rid of this option?
I am not happy with this new option. I want to get rid of it. I don't want it to show up. I want the system to just take the Local Mail Exchanger and that's it, not ask or provide this option. If some customer requires this it's a custom hosting solution but not for all sites.
