I think this would be very beneficial!
Doesn't seem too hard to implement either: Figvam's Wigwam: HOWTO: Using nginx to accelerate Apache on Cpanel server
But of course it would be nice to have it come officially from cPanel![]()

we have a couple of dedicated clients using nginx currently on single site server deployments with cpanel and its drasmatically improved performance on their sites
I dont know how it would go on a large busy shared server however, but if the performance was an improvement for page loads without too much resource overhead then id vote for it
I agree- + 1000000 for nginx
The secondary discussion within this thread about APIs and hooks has been moved to: http://forums.cpanel.net/f42/hooking...hm-135921.html
This could be quite beneficial, and I too would like to see this

Nginx is great (stops slowloris attacks), but when updating apache using easy apache, it noticed on a few servers that apache would actually be inaccessible...
Probably best to disable nginx before moving running the easy apache and re-enabling afterwards.
Might be something to keep an eye on if anyone does deploy this.
+1 Vote for nginx for cpanel.
