Default option to delete existing mailing lists when disabling mailman in tweak

    Hi,

Currently, when you disable Mailman mailing lists in Tweak Settings, nothing is done to existing lists. If you have existing lists that you wish to remove while Mailman is disabled, you must remove them via the command line.

Sending people to the command prompt could be avoided in many circumstances by adding the option to remove existing mailing lists when disabling the "Enable Mailman mailing lists" option in Tweak Settings.

A nice bonus would be to have the option state how many mailing lists currently exist, and possibly to have some expandable/collapsible text list them.

    I agree. +1 for this.

Perhaps, it would be a nice idea to add a new section inside WHM allowing to list mailman lists with their owners, domains, amount of addresses, and the checboxes to select and remove any mailman lists as desired.

BUT, if you want to disable Mailman from within Tweak Settings, WHM may not alert you that there are N lists created. You must be free to enable/disable any service but I THINK the settings and contents must remain untouched. I'dd add the above described section to provide admins with an UI capable of showing the current mailman lists list, which will allow for better decision taking on this issue.

    I agree with this suggestion.

P.S: It is nice to see staff proactively suggesting improvements themselves.

1 solution works for all problems. Trying harder!
