Perl Multi Thread

I have to run ASSP (SMTP PROXY) and its newer and most powerful version (ASSP V2) requires Perl Multi Threading 5.10 or 5.12

ASSP is the most powerful Anti Spam system I ever used (and can be used together with Mailscanner because it is a transparent Proxy), and I need to use the newest ASSP version 2.

I would really appreciate if anyone can inform the timetable for cPanel to styart using Perl Multi Threading.

I also wish t know why it does not use it yet.

We discussed a lot of this at the 2010 cPanel Conference at several presentations. This video will hopefully shed some light on the situation: cPanel RPM | cPanel Video Site

We'll be putting Perl into our own RPMs in one of the next versions of cPanel & WHM (perhaps 11.34), so it doesn't interfere with whatever version of Perl you want to use for your own apps. We are also moving our own code to Perl 5.12, but I don't have an ETA on that yet.
