    Default Remove Last-Login IP Address

When we log into our customers cpanel accounts via WHM our ip address is logged as the last ip address in cpanel which exposes our ip addresses to our customers and in some cases alarms them.

We would like the option to remove our ip

    Question

    Which theme are you using?

Hmm we are using our own custom theme, is this an option in X3?

If you switch to the most current theme supported by cPanel the X3 theme you'll see this is not there. You might want to update your theme or rebrand X3 for use.

No it is still there, it's a good feature that we dont want to just wholesale delete. We just dont want admin ip's exposed.

The IP address of last login can be cleared by removing the file named ".lastlogin" that is located directly in the cPanel account user's home directory:
    Code:
    /home/$username/.lastlogin
When the server administrator has completed their tasks in cPanel, he or she may elect to remove the ".lastlogin" file as noted above.

After the aforementioned file is removed, the cPanel stats sidebar should display the following upon the next access attempt:
    Code:
    Last login from: None Recorded
Please be aware that the ".lastlogin" file will be recreated automatically upon the next request received for a page in the applicable user's cPanel account, which can include a simple page refresh if someone is already logged-in.

I think it would be nice to have an option to not show the ip of a user that drops in using reseller/root authentication.

Logging into the server where there users account is located and toasting that file for ever account you touch in whm is kind of a pain.
