[Req] Update CPanel CentOS Quick Install CD ISO Images

hello everyone,
Centos has already release centos 6, but i saw cpanel still provide cpanel CentOS v5.4 Quick Install CD ISO Images to download.
although we still can use centos 6 along with cpanel but base on my experience,
cpanel centos quick cd installer were better than using other version to running cpanel server.
i hope cpanel can schedule update the centos quick cd install,

as far as i know, cpanel quick install cd is just the standard centos install cd + executing the remote install script (from layer1.cpanel.net). Is not a disk with cpanel build-in, is not better that any other standard install disk.

Essentially, that is correct. The other significant advantage is that our ISO is trimmed down to fit on a single CD whereas CentOS ISOs usually need a DVD.

@cPanelDavidG For the 6 version, CentOS also provide a minimal install (under 300MB). And for any version of CentOS is a netinstall that fit on CD. Anyway, CD or DVD is not a problem these days, any new server is with DVD or without any optical device.

This CD may be useful if can install cPanel from local medium at a better speed that from remote network. Otherwise, is useless in my opinion.

With these ISOs, cPanel&WHM has always been installed over an internet connection and never provided within the ISO.

? Do you have an eta on the CentOS 6 quick cd ISO ?

I can always do manually - but I tend to use that to build out everything for local builds - figured I would ask .

hello, centos 6 minimum installer little bit hard to run by a newbie who want to use cpanel to build a webserver, it not include such as wget repos and the network setting also. i think it maybe better if cpanel release them as a easy installer iso like thread title. tell me if i wrong

Is there a way to make a dvd with built-in cpanel? Not just with auto-install from internet?
