Restoring parts of an account via cPanel UI [Case 16334]

This request is very similar to http://forums.cpanel.net/f145/restor...ns-156402.html - but instead of the WHM interface, this is for the cPanel interface.

We're looking to implement the ability for a cPanel user to restore parts of their own full account backups via the cPanel UI (e.g. databases, files in their home directory).

As things stand now, this does not encompass the possibility of a cPanel user restoring their entire account from a full account backup - just parts of their account.

Gathering some public feedback on this.

Yep, sometimes I'd just wished to be able to restore only the stats data of a recently deleted account. Or even the previously configured email accounts/forwarders.

Hi,

I would like to see an option where end users can restore their own account data. We use NFS mounts to backup accounts to a remote NFS server, and WHM has the ability to restore account data.

It would be nice if users could restore their own:
emails, homedir, database(s), forwarders, etc - i.e. everything which they can download should be restorable as well.

Nice feature request, it will make things alot easier for users who don't know how to uncompress the backup !
