In the current version, when configuring 'Remote MySQL' you add hosts & it applies to ALL MySQL accounts related to the current account.
Enabling hosts to be set on a per-user basis is much more secure & a far better option (IMO). The workaround I found was to simply modify the users table via SSH, however it did seem to effect privileges until I reset them in cPanel. |

Cached memory can be freed with FLUSH PRIVILEGES which reloads the privileges from the grant tables in the mysql database, have you tried that ?
