Post View Mail Statistics/Exim Stats, also for 7 day and 30 day periods

In a discussion with a cPanel Partner NOC, they mentioned having several customers inquiring about optionally having Exim Stats (called "View Mail Statistics" in WHM) display statistics as they do now, but also have the option to view statistics for a 7 day period and a 30 day period. These additional statistics would allow patterns to be more easily noticed and allow system administrators to more effectively administer their mail servers.

If you have any additional recommendations or want to voice support for this functionality being implemented, please post to this thread.

Sounds good, just thinking on if the range of options are to be expanded it also might be helpful to have the option to archive previous daily / weekly / monthly reports as with web stats.

I can suggest include statistics per domain o per user.

It is very interesting. The only point to have in mind is that archived stats for all this may consume lots of disk space.

Yes! I was just trying to figure out how to do this. I'm sorry to hear it's not a feature already. I had a website on my server get hacked and SPAM was sent out. I'd like to get an idea of how much mail, but I can't look far enough in the past to tell.

    Thanks

@newvibe: while this feature is not being added, you can consider using plugins like ConfigServer Firewall for better protection of your server, do use mod_security rules, and graph global resource usage tendencies with Munin. Actually, using all the above, I rarely use Eximstats, mainly because the provided info does not allow to determine patterns or misbehaviours.
