Default Cannot log in despite changing password from whm

    Hello,
I cannot login to cpanel, thought I may be using incorrect password, changed the password from whm, again could not log in, changed the same domains password from root cpanel, yet cannot login to capnel.
Strange thing is that I can have ftp log in with all changed passwords, but never so in while trying to login to cpanel.
To cater for cache issue, tried from another computer but same results.
    Can you please advice.
    Regards

Perhaps you are locked out due to brute force protection. Do you have root access to the server?

Yes, I do have root access to the server.
This thing is happening to only one domain, for the rest of the domains on the server I can log in to cpanels, change password etc.

    Yes, it works fine now.
I think this happens when we carry out a server to server transfer of domain which is suspended on old server.
    Thanks

Default fix when changing password didn't work

yup, got the same problem. one account was suspended on the old server, when transfered to the new server it seems that the status on cpanel still suspended (although it didn't show up on list suspended accounts)

suspending again and then unsusped the account on new server fix this problem.
