    Default Need to disable

I'm having problems installing new scipts etc. I wriote to the company I bought this from and they said
the problem is the .htaccess file and password protection running on your domain. Disable them temporarily and you should be able to install those scripts fine.
What do I need to change to fix this??

Do you have a directory on your site that you must type in a password to get to? There's a tool in your cPanerl called Password Protect Directories that you can check. If you see one with a lock on it, click and and untick the checkbox to remove the password.

Or, open the .htaccess file in the public_html directory and rename it. That disables it.
