    Default exim memory/cpu use

I'm having load issues on my server. when looking at the daily process log I see:

    forums forums.ffshrine.org 32.02 88.49 0.0
    Top Process %CPU 84.0 /usr/sbin/exim -Mc 1OcC06-0003sW-O4
    Top Process %CPU 24.0 /usr/sbin/exim -Mc 1OcC51-0004Ee-PA
    Top Process %CPU 20.7 /usr/sbin/exim -Mc 1OcC9K-0004T7-Ex
is there any way to figure out why exim is using so much memory and CPU?

Take the message ID from the running process and see what Exim is doing with it:

    Code:
    # exim -Mvl <message-ID>
Should give you an idea why the CPU usage is high (large message, lots of recipients, etc.).
