I have WHM installed in one VMware VM. I have another VM in the same physical machine for storage/home directories. WHM mounts the strage VM via iSCSI.

Periodically, WHM will lose connection with the iSCSI storage and the mailboxes will not be available to store mail.

Also, if a customer logs in to view their list of mailboxes, the list will not show any. I reboot the server and the storage comes back and will stay until this issue arises again.

This problem arises sporadically; sometimes once a week, sometimes once a month.

I'm thinking that the system is getting overloaded. I think I should move the storage to another server or device. Dose anyone else have a similar experience with this type of setup? Any thoughts or suggestions?
