    Default Spamassassin config file location

I'm trying to get spamassassin to use a central file for bayes. The global config file should be located /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf but changes are not reflected after an exim restart.

Where is the correct place to make global spamassassin config changes?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello,

You should be able to make global config changes to /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf.

If you're unsure if the config file is being recognized, maybe add a custom rule in this file that alters the score for GTUBE and send a test spam message (SpamAssassin: The GTUBE).

    Regards,
    Joe
