WHM Loading but Nothing !

I have been waiting for WHM to load for about three minutes but nothing...

I have managed to get into Service Status and here are the details:

Code:
cpsrvd up
exim (exim-4.69-23.1_cpanel_maildir) up
ftpd up
httpd (2.0.63) up
imap up
mysql (4.1.22-standard) up
named (9.2.4) up
pop up
syslogd up
Server Load 0.13 (1 cpu)
Memory Used 31.7 %
Swap Used 0.01 %
Disk /dev/sda6 (/) 13 %
Disk /dev/sda7 (/tmp) 3 %
Disk /dev/sda8 (/home) 9 %
Disk /dev/sda1 (/boot) 12 %
Disk /dev/sda2 (/usr) 43 %
Disk /dev/sda3 (/var) 64 %
There doesn't look to be anything untoward ? Here is top:

Code:
top - 20:21:19 up 24 days, 4:32, 1 user, load average: 0.01, 0.06, 0.08
Tasks: 107 total, 1 running, 105 sleeping, 0 stopped, 1 zombie
Cpu(s): 0.0% us, 1.5% sy, 0.0% ni, 98.5% id, 0.0% wa, 0.0% hi, 0.0% si
Mem: 1032160k total, 976608k used, 55552k free, 227112k buffers
Swap: 2096440k total, 144k used, 2096296k free, 442128k cached
There looks to be a lot of sleeping tasks...can I kill these ? If so, how !

I have narrowed this down a bit now...all of WHM is accessible however, the "Create New Account" function hangs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks normal to me as well. Why not try and force a cPanel update and see if that helps. Be sure to clear your cookies/cache as well. can't hurt.

To update cpanel you will have to type below mentioned command through SSH:

/scripts/upcp -force

Kindly fire above command and have a try.

Does the page appear to hang only after submitting form data to create a new account, or does the page not load at all and hang immediately upon first access?

Are there any logged messages or displayed errors when attempting to load the page in WHM?

Please check the cPanel error_log; it can be monitored (live) using the following command, after which the page in WHM should be tested to see if any messages are logged:
Code:
# tail -fvn0 /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

Seems there is a problem with mysql privileges ? I dont know whether this is having an effect on WHM loading though ?

The "mysqladmin" log entries (prefixed by "info") are just informational messages and safe to ignore; however, what follows that may not be (as seen above in a CODE block). If the symptoms persist while accessing WHM please submit a ticket so that we can take a closer look at the specific issue affecting your system. The link in my forums signature may be used to initiate a ticket submission, or also via the Support Center feature in WHM.

It looks like you didn't set your root MySQL password for your issue ...

However, I have also seen a number of servers this week fail to load WHM because of a corrupted or missing "Locale.pm" and broken "locale" folder / symlink

Solution:
Code:
# rm -Rf /usr/local/cpanel/locale
# rm -f /usr/local/cpanel/locale.pm
# rm -Rf /usr/local/cpanel/lang
# /scripts/upcp --force
# /scripts/checkperlmodules
# service cpanel restart

Cautionary Warning: Do not run the "rm" commands posted by Spiral; they are not recommended and they are not safe to run as it will result in removal of data and required components.

Moderator Note: The issue reported by the original poster (OP or thread-starter) is different than the very brief EDGE-only issue relating to cPanel Locale and the Locales module from CPAN. For verbose detail on the EDGE issue please refer to the following post:
