Cannot add Smartmail server to Server Manager

I have installed Smartmail server with Windows 2008 R2 Standard Edition and joined it to Active Directory domain. After add this server in Enkompass server manager, it didn't show up there after 1 hour and I don't know the process. The document says the Enkompass will install applications on the smartmail server, what apps it's going to install? Thanks.

Installing the Server
The following services on the server will be managed by Enkompass.
Mail Service

SMARTMAIL.ads.cloudxxx.com (Smarter Mail)

Warning! Enkompass will install applications on this server and may reboot it. Please do not assign resources on this server for at least 10 minutes.

I didn't receive any mail until now.

The install will take several minutes and Admin should receive a mail message when it is complete.

if windows firewall is installed, allow all to the Enkompass master IP i found this fixed the issue your having when we had it.

cpanel support staff fixed the problem for me. He added a new firewall rule for port 9998 called "Enkompass - SmarterMail". I only add this port in Enkompass server, forgot to add it in Smartmail server. Thanks.

ah yes you have to have 9998 open
