    Default Can't create a new DNS Zone neither enter to DNS Tool

    Hi,

    I'm having problems when trying to add a DNS zone, the system shows the following error message:

    The DNS Zone could not be added because: Could not add the DNS zone xxxxxxxxx.com to the ip address xxx.xx.xxx.xxx.
    Method 'AddDnsZone' from contract 'IServerAdministratorService' failed.



    When I try to use the DNS tool the following error message appears:

    Problem Code: Unknown Type: WebAppAPIException

    Could not retrieve the DNS zones.
    Method 'GetAllDnsZoneNames' from contract 'IServerAdministratorService' failed.
    System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800706BA): El servidor RPC no está disponible. (Excepción de HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

    I don't know if this is a problem with Authorizations, Windows DNS Server (2008 R2) or Enkompass.


    I disabled de Windows Firewall, the services in Enkompass are running (Active Directory, Enkompass, Mail Enable, SQL Server, Web server (ISS7) are green).

    The service running in Windows among others are:

    Asignador de extremos de RPC
    Cliente DNS
    Enkompass FTP Authentication Service
    Enkompass Job Manager Service
    Enkompass Mail Enable Service
    Enkompas Server Monitoring Service
    Enkompass WCF Service
    Enkompass Web Server Service
    Enkompas Web Service
    Llamada a procedimiento RPC
    Servidor DNS

    Somebody had seen this problem and could help me please??

    Are you able to create accounts without an issue?

    Check your registry settings . . HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cPanel, Inc.\cPanel\PrimaryDnsServer

    Make sure it's the IP of the Domain Controller. I changed this to a random IP and received the same error message you did.
