CMS and blog apps for Enkompass

Are there any plans for incorporating CMS apps or even a simple blog app like WordPress into Enkompass? Am I missing a thread?

Howdy,

We have plans to incorporate the Web Platform Installer once it has the feature set we require. We've been in close talks with the provider to get that in place as soon as the feature set is there.

So, there is no way to incorporate WordPress or Joomla, for example, with the current iteration of Enkompass?

Is there a time-frame for this? 1 year? 3 years?

If I install Cpanel on a centos box, will you provide migration support over to Enkompass once it's actually working?

Howdy,

You can use our RC of Enkompass now! At this time we do not have a migration tool from cPanel to Enkompass but we will in time. We will support the web platform installer as soon as it supports the functions we need.

I think we probably found another solution. I stopped looking at Plesk awhile back because of all sorts of reasons but that product matured very quickly and it seems it's much more ready for Windows than Enkompass is.

I guess we'll be checking back in a year or two when we reevaluate our control panel needs again to see if you've made progress here.
