hello,
Mail sent from a Enkompass (version 3) reached 1 day later. MailEnable Standard Mail is 5.01. Could you suggest something? ¿Upgrade?
Thanks!

hello,
The reason is that the customer has a virus and it sent 500,000 emails from an Outlook with virus. This makes the mails arrive too late (1 or 2 days).
surprised that there is no security if this occurs. The only solution was to change the dns even the domain.
1. The virus can be sent even if the account is suspended in Enkompass
2. I see nowhere any limit (mails per hour etc.)
Can you help me a solution Enkompass side, while the client find out which virus is the Outlook?
Thanks
Mauro
Hi,
After I disable Mailenable in this account, and then enable I get this error:
Error occurred while modifying account for vitaequi
Failed to modify account vitaequi.
Method 'ModifyAccount' from contract 'IServerAdministratorService' failed.
Attempt to exceed POP3 limit 17 for account vitaequi.
Can you help me please? Screenshot Captura de pantalla 2012-08-08 a la(s) 17.10.05.png

Try restarting the Enkompass MailEnable Service.
Hi Salinas!
Don´t work. Same error
Failed to modify account vitaequi.
Method 'ModifyAccount' from contract 'IServerAdministratorService' failed.
Attempt to exceed POP3 limit 17 for account vitaequi.
Please accept other suggestions
Mauro
I have not seen that error before. If you don't want to open a ticket, try this.
In the registry on the Enkompass server, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cPanel, Inc.\cPanel\MailServers
Each entry should have either MailEnable or SmarterMail at the end of the string. Make sure you are referencing the correct one. You want the first string of the entry in curly brackets, for example: {8454a3d3-93c8-47c6-bf4b-55b4ca483804}
Next, open ADSI Edit. Drill down to vitaequi under the cPanel OU. Under the vitaequi OU, right-click on the CN and go to Properties. There is an attribute called 'cPanel-AssignedServers'. Double click that, highlight the value you noted from the registry and click Remove, then OK.
Do not make any actual changes to the registry. I recommend making a backup, just in case.
I deleted your last post. You will reference this part in ADSI Edit. {e892068a-76f0-43e1-b416-7ff23551583d}
Great Salinas! problem solved. Very grateful for your help
