Default Mail flow not working for Mail Enable

I feel like I am so close to being done but here is another problem that just started happening.

As of yesterday I had mail flowing fine but now when I send mail using Mail Enable on my server I receive the following undeliverable message:

MailEnable: Message delivery has been delayed.

Message is waiting at domainofmyserver.net for delivery to recipientdomain.com

The message will be retried for another 30 hours.

Reason: Mail Server for recipientdomain.com could not be contacted at this time. MailEnable will keep trying to deliver this message and will notify you of any progress.

I found that there was no MX record in my DNS for domainofmyserver.net so I went ahead and added one. Didn't seem to help (at least not right away. Might have cached something)

Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Oh and the biggest thing I have done in the last 24 hours is install certificates for all of my services.

Did you add the account and then modify it later to add a mail server?

When I create an account with a mail server specified at creation time the MX record gets created.
When I add mail after the fact DNS isn't touched.

The mail server was already selected for the account upon the account's creation. Out-bound mail still doesn't work but inbound works fine. I checked into the DNS. Looks like an MX record was already created for the account's domain. I manually added the MX record for the domain of the server but it doesn't seem to have helped.

    Thanks,

I got this working. I had to stop using localhost as my DNS because of Recursive problems. MailEnable was still trying to use localhost. Had to change it to my DNS servers.
