Default Problem with Accounts Backup job...

I have Enkompass running on a single server. The last two nights I have received a notification email with this message:

The system-wide backup of accounts has failed. No accounts have been backed up.

About the server: The server is a Dell PowerEdge 1955 blade server in an 1855 blade enclosure. The server has dual 2.66Ghz 5150 Xeons, 4GB of ram, mirrored SAS drives, and is running 64 bit Server 2008 Enterprise R2. The NAS is a NetApp FAS250.

When I attempt to run C:\Program Files\cPanel\Enkompass\BackupTrigger>cPanel_Backup_Trigger.exe manually, this is what appears in the log:

    Code:
    cPanel.Core Error: 0 : 2010-08-06 14:25:03Z [ERROR ] - cPanel Backup Trigger - Program - Backup Trigger encountered an exception
    Exception:
    System.ServiceModel.Security.SecurityAccessDeniedException: Access is denied.

    Inner Exception:
Has anyone else seen a similar problem and if so is there a known solution?

    Thank you very much.

Check the user account being used to run the scheduled task in the Task Scheduler.

If the password for the user has been changed, it needs to be changed there. Sometimes, just re-entering the password will remedy the denial.

I re-entered the credential for the scheduled task and the result was the same. I then browsed to the folder where the executable is located and right clicked and chose "Run as Administrator" and I still get this in the log:

    Code:
    cPanel.Core Error: 0 : 2010-08-06 14:54:18Z [ERROR ] - cPanel Backup Trigger - Program - Backup Trigger encountered an exception

I am completely at a loss... Thanks for the help.

    Howdy,

It looks like the user permissions aren't quite right. To the Enkompass server is it a local or remote path?

If it's local you can use runas, like this:

    runas /user:domain\user cmd

then you'll have a shell as that user and you can try cd'ing to the directory.

    Thanks!
