    Default WHMCS creates Enkompass Module

Since we have began supporting the XML-API in Enkompass that is used for cPanel&WHM, it has become easier for everyone to integrate their billing infrastructure with Enkompass.

As a result, WHMCS has just created an Enkompass module for their very popular billing software. Many have requested WHMCS support here in the Enkompass forums, and now it's here.

Now we just need to wait for the change of version 2.2.* from BETA to RELEASE Since WHMCS Enkompass module needs version 2.2 of Enkompass :S

    Howdy,

Should be later this week. But I've been running the edge version for while now w/o any issues.

    Thanks!

Hey all! I am excited about the WHMCS module for Enkompass as well. In fact, I just bought my WHMCS license today. One thing to note that I came across however, is that in Jenn's video for 'Preparing your environment for Enkompass" (Preparing Your Environment for Enkompass | cPanel Video Site) at around 14:50, where she is installing MySQL, she claims that "Strict Mode" must be left ON.

I had problems installing WHMCS on my dev server, and Matt (of WHMCS) notified me that Strict Mode must be set to OFF. Will this cause any issues with Enkompass? If so, it puts me (and other Enkompass + WHMCS users) between a rock and a hard place since Enkompass would need Strict Mode ON, and WHMCS needs it OFF.

I don't mean to be a bother, as I'm sure you're all aware that I'm a new poster (although I've been scanning these boards for quite some time now), but as I plan to use Enkompass, I really want to make sure I set everything up as rock solid and cleanly as I can in the first place.

Cheers, and thanks for your response.

There shouldn't be any issues with strict mode being set to off. Enkompass won't have any issues with that, at least not that I've seen.

Thanks Jenn, that's great news. Matt from WHMCS advised me of the same. BTW, wonderful presentation there with the preparation for the Enkompass install. I found it very helpful!

    Cheers!

I'm just trying this module of WHMCS for Enkompass and i'm 100% sure that everything is well configured. When i try to create an account using WHMCS during my tests i receive the following error:

"'customip' has an invalid value of 'E'."

Matt from WHMCS said that i need to wait for the release of the next version of Enkompass (a new EDGE?) that will be released later 'this week'.

But there is any other way to solve it using the actual version 2.2 (EDGE)?

When you mean 'this week' do you mean the one that ends tomorrow (31 / 07 / 2011)?

    Thanks in advance

    Howdy,

I'm using 2.2.0.3 on the server Matt wrote the plugin against. I'm not aware of anything WHMCS needed for that version (and if there is we need to know soon to correct the issue).

    Thanks!

I'll take a look. Also give the steps to reproduce the issue in WHMCS (I'm a little new to it )

    Thanks!

WHMCS Enkompass integration magically started working for me today. Then stopped again tonight.

This error is returned from the API. the IP in question is the master Enkompass IP that we have reserved so no websites are created on the master, we only want Websites to be created on the Web servers. Also How does Enkompass decide on what server to add to? i.e. least load?? also is it possible to use * (all IPs) on API as this would be what we want, but WHMCS support say it asks for IP in API and don't think * will work.
