First of all: cpanel.net is using domainkeys and DKIM ! Thousands of cpanel's clients are not using. I lost at least 5000 euro every month since 11 months ago because my e-mails were not delivered to my clients.
I just realized why yahoo defered my emails.

Who is gone give my money back? I should sue cpanel for that.

So as much as i understood, Yahoo requires DKIM or domain keys, but your server should be configured to require one of them also.

cpanel does not support any of those to be required.
I was trying in the last days to configure domain keys or DKIM on my server. I managed to have DKIM for outgoing, but because the inbound is not using DKIM, yahoo still defer my emails.

I have setup the domain keys for outgoing and incoming, but for i don't know what reason, because of cpanel the domain keys are not well recognized.
And so, i end up tonight having both installed DKIM and domain keys, but because of cpanel no one have any effect.

    NOTICE FOR CPANEL STUFF !!!.
When you lunch the 11.32 cpanel version, make sure that you place one button which will generate DKIM and domain keys for all the installed domains from the server.
I have like 12000 websites on every server and to setup DKIM and domain keys for every of them one by one, i must pay like 100 people to do that ( would you pay them? i don't think so. then is better to make it with a few clicks. ).

The second thing which i never found on any forum blog or whatever on this internet is that you all guys don't realise something.
You can send emails everywhere in this world. if you want to send an email to bill gates its going to inbox
If you want to send an email to obama, he receives it.. ... everywhere you want to send an email goes straight to inbox EXCEPT YAHOO.

So what you don't see ( including cpanel stuff ) is that we all end up here because of yahoo.
Yahoo tells us how to setup our servers and act as a privat person or privat company .

The bigest problem is that Yahoo is a public company that offers free email services to all of our possible clients.

I will short it up and i will not explain to many things but i tell you this.

yahoo makes an abuse because they are big and they force us private businesses to setup our servers in a way that fit their business and.
We should not accept this because i as a business company don't want to be controlled by another company.
They limit the comunication between us and our clients who uses their FREE email.

I have been reading all the laws and found that yahoo should allow any incoming email if the IP or domain is not black listed for spam or whatever. They should only filter spam messages.

So they are not allowed to limit our emails unless our IPs/domains are blacklisted or the content is black listed.

Based on this i am gone sue yahoo and ask for huge amounts to cover all my loses and to gain back the freedom of comunicating with my clients.
Who wants to sue yahoo too please send me an email to inocent_host@yahoo.com so we can prepare well and sue yahoo in the same time.

I like the idea. Go sue Yahoo. Murphy Law says that when cPanel finally start to use DKIM and Domain Keys, you probably win in the court and then Yahoo will desist on this monopolic methods

Same thing is happening with us, when our client send mail to the yahoo user, first time it delivered to Spam Box instead of inbox

our clients are asking us why it is happening why it doesn't delivered to the inbox ??

It's not delivered to the inbox due to the proprietary spam-detection heuristics that Yahoo use. A _critical_ factor in the determination of non-spam is DKIM.

    Here's their "best practice" guidelines:

Yes, I bettered the delivery performance by adding the big mailing domains to the Feedback Loop. Although, the other domains are being greylisted, thus making the Exim queue raise to high values every day...

My problem is that if i use dedicated IPS, i cannot deliver emails to Yahoo at all if i try to deliver each domain from its IP.

Yahoo is killing me... this just sucks not being able to have this. I know cPanel is working on it and working to do it right, but I am dying.

When I first talked to you guys you told me Exim was slated for 11.28 then 11.30 and now 11.32.

You're 3 years behind. What the hell? Stop lying to us. I'm at a cross roads where I can't relate to my customers what cpanel says because they all become non truths. Damn!

yea... its March. little patience for delay here but let's see what happened. Looking back... i see where they did say it would be in release 11.32.

Let's please note that exim version 4.74 is out with even more improvements...

Exim 4.69 was released in December of 2007. Exim 4.74 was released in Janurary of 2011. Cpanel is now 5 years behind standard mailing conventions. i'd like to hear a explanation for this that makes business or logical sense. CPANEL?

    *sigh*

The stable version of 11.28 is scheduled on 28 November 2010. This means that the next stable version 11.30 will be released in February and 11.32 in May 2011. Please keep in mind that this can be delayed if there are big problems/bugs.

    mykkal,

If you haven't realized it by now, then you never will. cPanel doesn't care about your clients email problems. They never have. It's time to dump them an move on to something else. Use Plesk, HostController, VirtuaMin, ISPConfig, HMSPanel, etc, etc.

Already moved some boxes off Cpanel but that was for a different reason actually. Cpanel packages apache in such a way you can't really install third party modules with out a lot of conf editing.

Hopefully I won't have to migrate the other boxes but there's a tentative plan in place if we ultimately have too. Unfortunately if they are late i'll have too.
