Default Autoresponders Not Sending On Delay, Even When Set

I was excited to see the option to set autoresponders to not respond instantaneously.

However this is only available in the "x3" or X"x3mail" theme of cpanel.

Fine, so I switched my theme.
Setting the delay to any number of hours DOES NOT WORK. It still responds immediately.

(Only good thing is repeated emails are ignored lol)

    Would be great if
    1. this feature actually worked
    2. Was implemented in all themes (especially "x")

Thumbs down Funny How Bad Documentation Leads To Misunderstandings...

Well after DAYS of frustrating tests, i finally figured out that the delay is not for sending responses - it is for responding to the same email...

Specify the interval, in hours, you wish for the autoresponder to wait between responses to the same email address.

    * For example, if you set up an autoresponder with an interval of 24, and you receive an email from john@example.com at 8 am on Monday, the autoresponder will respond to his message immediately. If, however, john@example.com continues to email you throughout the day, the autoresponder will not send him another response for 24 hours after his initial email (in this case, 8 am Tuesday). If he emails you again after the 24-hour interval expires, he will receive an auto response.

    Auto Responders (Autoresponders)

So allow me to officially make this request:
Make it so that we can choose/set how long it takes for an auto response to reply!!!!

(And whether they can receive more than one or only one response per email).
I'll make a poll if I have to....

Please know we do not intend for any confusion, but if you believe we can improve in a certain area we very much would like to know exactly how you think that area or the specific wording can be improved. You are welcome to send me a PM via the forums or create a separate thread dedicated to the specific documentation improvement suggestions while ensuring the criticism is constructive and remains professional.

    For reference, consider the following:
    • The old themes "x" and "x2" are fully deprecated and no longer supported; it is recommended to switch to "x3" for continued improvements and full support, including ensuring you have full access to all available cPanel features.
    • The option to specify an "Interval" (in a number of hours) in X3 is described, in X3, as follows:
      • The interval is the time period in hours between automatic responses to the sender.
    • The official documentation, as you noted and referenced, clearly describes the same option with verbose detail:
      • Specify the interval, in hours, you wish for the autoresponder to wait between responses to the same email address. For example, if you set up an autoresponder with an interval of 24, and you receive an email from john@example.com at 8 am on Monday, the autoresponder will respond to his message immediately. If, however, john@example.com continues to email you throughout the day, the autoresponder will not send him another response for 24 hours after his initial email (in this case, 8 am Tuesday). If he emails you again after the 24-hour interval expires, he will receive an auto response.

Regarding the initial message, if a bug is suspected the best avenue to report it is via our ticket system, such as by using the link in the top-right corner of the forums, labeled Bugs; using this method helps to ensure greater efficiency, accuracy in diagnosis, full and in-depth investigation and faster resolution.

When submitting feature requests please keep in mind proper forum etiquette taking into account posted guidelines as seen below:
The described feature requests have been split into new threads to better organize discussion and prevent confusion:
The original thread is being closed so that appropriate discussion may continue in the dedicated feature request threads as linked above. Thank you for your understanding.
