    Lightbulb [Case 46819] Sort Email Accounts by % used

    (x3) Issues:
    -colored bar to represent the users current quota is good for visual check (green=good, red=bad), but still cannot sort users based on their actual usage (calculated %)
    --current workaround for me is to copy all to Excel, filter out the extra rows and columns, extract the numbers for the usage and limits and calculate the % usage values in a new column (time consuming for 300 accounts) for further assessment

    -current "usage" sorting capability does not sort as expected
    --example: an account using 9 of 10MB (90%) would be placed between an account using 8 of 100 (8%) and one using 10 of 10 (100%)
    --this means you cannot quickly identify those accounts nearing their limits from those that are just larger

    Feature Request 1 (cPanel):
    -add sortable column to mailbox list to represent the numerical value of a users current quota usage (%)
    --advantage is you could then sort all accounts by weighted (%) usage to bring the worst offenders to the top of the list, while still being able to find the largest consumers and those with the largest limits (all three pieces of information can be useful)

    Since the value is already being calculated to generate the pretty colored bar there should be minimal additional overhead to generate the new column.

    If I'm understanding your writeup correctly, the behavior you are describing is a bug. The inability to sort by email account disk usage should be fixed soon (in 11.28 time period).

    Well, there is some sorting capability already, so I don't think it is a technically a bug, it just does not sort the way I was desiring it to, which I think some people would find useful:

    Example:
    Mailbox1 = 8/10 MB (80%)
    Mailbox2 = 9/100 MB (9%)
    Mailbox3 = 10/10 MB (100%)

    Sorted by "Quota": result is based on their quota limit (1, 3, 2), which is can be used to identify accounts with abnormally large or small limits
    Sorted by "Used": results based on their actual usage (1, 2, 3), which can be used to identify mailboxes using the most actual storage

    But, no 3rd option to sort results based on the mailboxes usage as it relates to their quota, which could be used to quickly identify mailboxes who's quotas should be enlarged or decreased based on their actual use (ie: % full).

    Example:
    Sort by % (missing) should return this:
    Mailbox2 = 9/100 MB (9%)
    Mailbox1 = 8/10 MB (80%)
    Mailbox3 = 10/10 MB (100%)

    Based on this I can quickly identify at a glance that MB3 is full and can take actions based on this information. Also, I can see MB2 is nearly empty and consider adjusting its quota accordingly.

    Additionally the ability to export the raw values (mailbox, usage, quota, percent) to CSV from the mailbox screen might be useful.

    Version 11.28.27 was pushed out very recently and was designed to, among other things, fix issues relating to sorting email accounts by consumption. Try updating to 11.28.27 or later and let me know if this issue persists.

    The ability to sort email by % of allocation used has entered the final stages of development, but I do not yet have an ETA.
