[Case 50477] MySQL backups incomplete

I am having weird issues with sql backups generated from cpanel.no matter how i log in (reseller,root,user) or going to backup wizard or full backup I get few bytes of sql file backup with following line of text inside the file:

No Valid program called.

can you please advise on this issue? I'm running centos 5.6 x64 with latest release 11.30.00 (26)

I can confirm this here, after extracting the .SQL and opening, the contents are as you explain for me as well.

No Valid program called.

Same cPanel version as you.

Using phpMyAdmin and exporting a DB ticking "zipped" results in a corrupt (assuming same sort of file) file.

Interestingly enough, ticking instead (in phpMyAdmin > Export), "gzipped" I am able to download the DB and it is intact.

I've only tested on one server and will test others right now, please open a support ticket for this with cPanel if you would.

already opened support ticket.actually i was using some small windows program that downloads sql backup file to my hard rive and suddenly it stopped working and then I saw all these errors.I hope they will reply to the ticket soon

forced a cPanel update ( /scripts/upcp --force ), and was able to download proper sql backups afterwords

tech guy solved the issue with forced upgrade,everything working,both cpanel and external programs

I am also having this problem, even after forcing an install of 10.30.0.32.

Hello maggy,

Please submit a ticket using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature, then post the ticket number here about the issue.

Right now, every ticket where this has happened, we have been able to get it working by forcing an update with "/scripts/upcp --force" so if that has not worked for you, then we will need to check into this further.

We have case 50477 opened about the issue.

This has been fully resolved in version 11.31.1.2 and later. See if this version has propagated to your update tier yet by visiting Downloads - cPanel Inc.
