Exclamation Custom Nameserver management during Multi/Account Transfer

Ability to set the NS records that should be used for a set of accounts being restored. Right now it relies on the server getting the accounts it's name servers set in the basic settings. This is not ideal when you're dealing with resellers. So you end up changing the basic settings constantly to reflect the name servers you want to specify.

Exclamation DNS Zone issues should not occur after transferring account [Case 52354]

    Hi

I am experiencing a real issue with DNS zones after moving 500 accounts from dedicated to 4 VPSs

the issue is some DNS zones still showing wrong name servers IP

the solution is to reset each domain via WHM or to edit via zone editor on WHM
but this is not cool at all to go over 500 domain ...

i would be happy if Cpanel add a feature to reset zones of multi-domains

    Regards

In WHM > Server Configuration > Tweak Settings > Domains tab:
Always use authoritative (registered) nameservers when creating a new DNS zone.

When adding a new domain, if the domain is already registered, ignore the configured nameservers, and set the NS line to the authoritative (registered) ones.
This setting is set to Off by Default. Is this On?

Is this just dealing with nameservers or is this affecting DNS zones? I am asking because this reminds me a little of this other request we received a while ago: http://forums.cpanel.net/f145/custom...er-164190.html

I spoke with our product manager about this, this is going to be treated as a bug rather than a feature request. Everyone experiencing this issue, please submit a bug report via http://go.cPanel.net/bugs so we can gather more data so we can focus on the causes of this issue so they can be resolved.

Since this is a bug, I am closing this thread and archiving it. Anyone else wanting this should submit a bug report which we can then follow up to via email.
