DNS SRV record support

I've been waiting a LONG time for this, I really need to host some SRV records for some applications I'm running (e.g. jabber IM server). There's an old thread on this with no reply from cpanel, and I sent them a support ticket which also got no reply. What's the deal here? It's a trivial feature in the scheme of things.

I don't know if it's the same bug, but I have bug 2291 bookmarked. We have a couple of domains for which the DNS cannot be edited through CPanel, as that will destroy the SRV records.

I can't find the email confirmation so might've been user error on my part. But that's beside the point. Can you try to get this really old request bumped up?

Upgrade to cPanel 11.23 or later, you will see the option to add SRV records in "Edit DNS Zones" in the WHM interface.
