Talking Excluding bandwidth files in backup action. [Case 56876]

    Hello ,

I'm so worried that backup files is much enormous in backup action now.

In the explaination of "Excluding Files from Backup", it's possible to exclude specified user directory files.
But it can't exclude bandwidth files which occupied large size by specifying in cpbackup-exclude.conf.

Could you please implement function which can exclude bandwidth files by specifying?

Implied in this request is that it would be okay that if you had to restore such an account from backup, that it would be okay that their bandwidth for this month would be reset to 0 MB consumed. Is that okay?

    Thank you for reply.

    It's no problem.
I would like to specify in each user.

I want this too. Just dloaded my files, unzipped to see why they're big and bandwidth is a lager culprit.

Many people (I am one of them) use cpanel for hosting their sites alone so bandwidth stats can go as a tradeoff.

This is being planned for a version of 11.32 after the initial release of 11.32, possibly 11.32.1. This is essentially in the QA phase at the moment.

This functionality is now in all update tiers so I am now closing and archiving this thread.
