The thread appeared to be that of a feature request for MySQL version 5.0.88; this feature (update for MySQL to 5.0.88) is implemented in the cPanel BETA build tree and in the process of undergoing Quality Assurance testing. Assuming no major issues this is expected to reach other build trees in due course, resolving the feature request.

MySQL version 5.0.86 was superseded by the release of MySQL version 5.0.87 that will make its way into RELEASE and STABLE; for this reason MySQL version 5.0.86 will not be made available in the STABLE build tree.
