We have been working on this since last week and have deemed this to be a security issue so it gets expedited treatment.
Update: We are planning to address this as part of EasyApache version 3.14.
A non-trivial amount of effort was required to extract PHP 4. We were ready to begin the final phase for delivery this week, until we noticed updates for PHP 5.3 and 5.4 were issued. We decided to delay the release of EasyApache 3.14 until those updates could be accomplished. We aim to have EasyApache 3.14 out within two weeks.

Thanks for the update.
Update: The majority of development work on this seems to be done and is going through some pre-QA checking before it goes off to QA review.

We had a significant issue come up during QA testing that we're working to address, so it may be another week or two. If you haven't rebuilt Apache using EA 3.13.5 (the latest EasyApache) and you are using mod_security, I'd recommend rebuilding Apache to fix that mod_security issue.

Over 3 weeks later and still no PHP update, despite the security-related fixes and the promises from cPanel that this would get special treatment. At this rate, PHP 5.3.15 (currently in RC) will be released before you have released PHP 5.3.14!
EDIT: On that note, if you release EA w/ PHP 5.3.14 and the very next day PHP 5.3.15 is released, will we need to wait several more weeks for the update?
Who's idea was it to add PHP 5.3.14 to EA 3.14, which keeps being delayed due to QA issues?! PHP 5.4 is no where near as important as a patched and secure PHP 5.3 installation - so why not get PHP 5.3.14 released and work on EA 3.14 afterwards?

EasyApache 3.14 is out, containing PHP 5.3.14.
Since this request is fulfilled I am closing and archiving this thread.
